Tackling Problem Parking in Market Street

Following numerous complaints and concerns about illegal parking along Market Street we are pleased to be able to inform that following liaison with Staffordshire County Council that we were able to ascertain that the no loading restrictions are still in place and that the highways markings have recently been repainted

Yellow marks on the kerb or at the edge of the carriageway indicate that loading or unloading is prohibited at the times shown on the nearby black and white plates. You may stop while passengers board or alight. If no days are indicated on the signs the restrictions are in force every day including Sundays and Bank Holidays

And whilst we continue with work with Staffordshire County Council on the possibility or relocating the existing bollards to kerbside residents, businesses and visitors are able to report any illegal parking to the Clear Streets Team on the link below:
