A Statement from Council

This notice is to advise of the resignation of Councillor Kathryn Downs from Hednesford Town Council, due to heavy work commitments she felt that she could no longer dedicate the time needed for the role. 

Councillors were saddened to received Kathryns resignation and will miss her valuable contribution to Hednesford Town Council and the community of Hednesford in general.  Kathryn worked hard during her time as councillor which saw her being elected as Mayor twice, she played an active role in many projects and initiatives for the town and community and was well respected by councillors and officers alike.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Kathryn for all her hard work and wish her well in her future ventures.

A new Mayor will be elected at our next full council meeting.
