Hednesford cafes to open again thanks to HednesFOOD
Hednesford is, this week, joining in with the “we’re open for business” celebrations following the launch of HednesFOOD – a brand new food and drink destination that will enable local cafes to open their doors once again, safely.
This new area, located on Market Street, has been created by Hednesford Town Council for cafes that don’t currently have an indoor seating area, yet want to get back to business as usual.
Local people will be able to sit safely outside and enjoy food and drink from their favourite local eatery.
Local cafes have joined forces to launch the new HednesFOOD area, including Bella’s Café, Bakeaway, Subway, Candy Land Sweet Shop, The Shiny Fork and Kraftt Lounge, all of which will be able to use the new area at no cost, giving their customers the perfect alfresco dining experience.
People from across Hednesford and Staffordshire are urged to shop locally, and help boost the regional economy again and support these cafes that have had to shut their doors for so long.
Hednesford Town Council Operations and Regeneration Manager, Michelle Baker said:, “As a Council, we’re very connected with our local community and businesses told us they wanted and needed to reopen but could not wait until indoor dining restrictions are lifted on 17th May. The alfresco dining area will be open Tuesday to Saturday 11am – 2pm and we may extend hours if it proves to be popular”.
“HednesFOOD is going to give people that extra special feeling of excitement at being out and seeing other people again, but even more importantly it’s about re-investing back into Hednesford again and supporting local.
