Bus shelter clean-up completed after concern from councillors
Hednesford town centre bus shelters have been given a facelift thanks to the town council.
The four shelters in Victoria Street were cleaned up and painted after councillors decided they couldn’t wait for action to be taken.
Instead the town council employed a local company to do it.
Council chairman Alan Pearson said he was delighted the clean-up had gone ahead.
“We had to do something, as the shelters were in a shocking state,” he said. “It cost us £200 but we weren’t going to wait any longer.”
